We can’t quite believe it, but the big day has finally arrived – our Future8 winners will be announced tomorrow at our awards ceremony at Google’s Campus London!
Over the last few months, we’ve seen some incredible entries across all eight categories of the Future8 Awards, and some amazing under-17 digital and creative talent has come to the surface. That’s why we are so pleased to recognise the achievement of our final EIGHT winners tomorrow by awarding each talented creator with a once-in-a-lifetime prize!
What prizes are on offer?
Sponsoring the Maker category, the WeMo inspired loads of amazing and innovative Future8 entries, and no wonder – offering a trip to Disneyland in California and day in the life of a WeMo Maker as their prize, the winner of this category has an amazing opportunity to come!
The winner of the Online video category will win a day on the set of a music video, assisting Sony Music UK Video Director, Mike O’ Keefe! With some truly impressive video entries to choose from, we’re sure the winner will do an awesome job.
The winner of the Blogger category will get their work published on a Penguin Random House UK online platform and become one of their ‘Specialist Correspondents’! They will also receive expert mentoring sessions and of course take home a bundle of books and Penguin goodies!
Outfit 7, the hit entertainment company behind the global phenomenon Talking Tom and Friends are offering the winner of the Mobile App category a trip to Slovenia, to experience first hand all of the stages of app development, from the initial idea to the finished product, as well as seeing the beautiful attractions of the country itself.
Now That’s What I Call Music! inspired an influx of incredible young musical talent entering the Music category, and we are confident the winner will be a hit when they enter the recording studio RedLight London, for their exclusive recording session with NOW Music!
The winner of the Games category will win one-to-one mentoring sessions with Stick Sports CEO Paul Collins, to guide them through the development of their own game, and how they would market it for release!
With millions of fans worldwide, Bin Weevils are sponsoring the Web category and attracted loads of amazing entries. We’ll soon find out who wins a day in the Bin Weevils studio designing their own nest item to feature on the site and the new mobile game!
NaturalMotion Games, the amazing team behind Clumsy Ninja, CSR Racing, and CSR Classics, recently aquired by Zynga, are inviting the Animation category winner to their studios in Oxford to learn about motion simulation animation first hand! The company used this animation in films like Lord of the Rings, to create those ultra-realistic battle scenes!
With eight huge, truly unique prizes on offer, there is only one question left to ask…
